Independent Church in India reaches out with the love and compassion of Jesus to
a large village named Kallar in the coastal of Nagapattinam in Tamil Nadu, India.

Before Independent Church in India distributed the blankets, bread, and water, Pastor Britto and missionary Kathy A. Smith prayed a prayer of comfort over the people.
During the time of prayer.
Hundreds of Hindu and Moslem women humbly bow their heads during the prayer to the true God in heaven.

Pastor Britto giving words of comfort to these Moslem men who lost their wives and children.

Our burden is to return back to this same village and take many more survival and hygiene supplies to encourage and build relationships with these people who have given up on hope and life. Also, as the Lord provides, we want to start building the orphanage this year so we can provide homes for the orphan children in this village. Together we can reach these hopeless and suffering victims. Please help us to share the love and compassion of the Lord Jesus Christ in their time of despair.

"For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me" Matthew 25:35-40.
