Disaster Strikes From Earthquake Tsunami

This grieving woman nursing her only remaining child lost her husband, two children, and her home.
|

On December 26th of 2005, a middle-aged man was standing on high ground watching and enjoying his beloved four children as they played in front of his house. All of a sudden a gigantic tidal wave larger than he had ever seen in his life came rushing towards the shore, and in a moment's time swept all of his children out into the vast depths of the sea.

Like this unfortunate man, thousands upon thousands of men, women and children have lost beloved family members, their homes, and all hope of ever rebuilding their lives. Everything that was precious to them in this life is completely gone.

On this unforgettable day, the largest earthquake in four decades hit southeast Asia, causing tidal waves over three stories high to come down on innocent victims and killing well over 160,000. This tragic event was one of the most devastating disasters in history.
