One day while doing children's ministry in a remote village named Gandhi-nagar, the Gospel team prayed for a boy that was very sick with a fever. When they returned to this village a week later, the boy told the team that he was healed right after the Gospel team had prayed for him. On another Saturday, ICII could not reach this same village, because they will many times rotate between the different villages so more can be reached with the Gospel.

After the children realized the team wasn't coming that day, one determined older boy began leading the children in the songs and sharing about Jesus the way he had heard from the team.

Independent Church in India's children's Gospel tracts are also always gladly received by the children. The children take them back to their homes, which gives a wide-open door for the child's whole family to read about the Lord.

One day, after the team preached the Gospel at a village full of poverty and idol worship, the Lord provided the opportunity to preach the Gospel to over forty children on their lunch break from school.

A few days later, three boys from this same village called the ministry's phone number which was on the back of the Gospel tracts. The boys joyfully told Pastor Britto how they had accepted the Lord Jesus Christ, and they asked the Gospel team to please return to their village so they could hear more about Jesus.

"We are often getting feedback from youth guys and girls that had attended our children's ministry when they were younger. They tell us because we heard you share the word of God week after week when you visited our village, we are now believers in Jesus Christ"
