.Independent Church In India took their third trip back to the village of Kallaar where the horrifying tsunami disaster had destroyed hundreds of families, homes, and hope for any future. The Gospel team took along with them disaster relief packs and faith for another opportunity to preach the good news of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to those who had not yet heard, and to give them new life and hope. ICII brought with them adult and children's packs, nearly six hundred in all. Inside each disaster pack was cleansing supplies, cooking utencils, a Bible, and other items.

As the Gospel team entered Kallaar, many of the village people recognized them from their two previous trips, and received them with great joy.
Many could not forget them, because they remembered ICII as the first and only ones who had expressed any comfort towards them, and had cried along with them when they had lost everything in the tsunami. The team told the people to gather together at one spot.

Within the hour, over five hundred men, women and children gathered together. After this, Lowell and Kathy Smith shared words of comfort to the people to prepare them to hear the Gospel message.
Pastor Britto and Kathy then preached the good news of the Gospel to all the hurting people.

Afterwards, they gave an altar call, and the Lord poured out His conviction upon the people, as over half of them seriously bowed their heads, and prayed the sinner's prayer, asking Christ to be the Lord and Savior of their lives!
