Pastor Britto is Visiting America This Summer! Pastor Britto, who is the founder of Independent Church in India, arrived here in PA on June 5th. His plane ticket was graciously sponsored by an ICII supporter. So far each Sunday, and various nights throughout the week, he is visiting churches, Bible studies, prayer meetings, and even a TV interview, to share about the work in India. Along with each presentation, Lowell and Kathy Smith are showing ICII's new video called "Transforming Lives in India" so the churches and those supporting the ministry can be updated on the work. Many people have been touched deeply. If you know of any other churches, Bible studies, or gatherings that may like to have Pastor Britto speak about India, please contact us at (717) 865-7885 or email us at info@indchurch.org.

Venila, age 10, shared,"I love this home. I love to play games here and I like the food. I feel like I have family here. Because I came here I learned about Jesus. Before when I lived with my grandma, I worshipped the idols and I didn't have any real hope in life. I feel that Jesus is with me and is always ready to give me good things. Everything is enough for me here at this home. I want to do ministry for Jesus. I shared about Jesus with the other children at school, that He is so good".

already shared the gospel to 20 kids. I am telling them Jesus loves them. I am taking the Bible to school and sharing things from the Bible to the other kids. Even my teacher asked me about Jesus".

Many of the children shared what they want to do when they grow up. Over half of the boys said that they want to be pastors, and over half the girls want to do ministry in the villages. Others want to be doctors. Rakkuselvi, age 13, shared, "I feel like I have a family here. I feel close with everyone. I never even talked with my parents this close. I like everything, the food, the bed. Kids are nicer here than other kids outside.Overall, I love everything here. In my home, I never felt this kind of love or care. Because I am staying here I am growing in the Lord. I want to be a doctor and do the ministry because I want to help sick people. Because Jesus died for me, I want to share about Him to others. I am sharing the Gospel with other kids at my school because I love Jesus".

David Raj, age 13, shares, "I like to live here and play with the kids. Everyone is nice to me. I like to go to the park and celebrate Christ-mas. I never got so many gifts before. My mother would beat me if I even asked her for any gifts. When I was at home, I often just wandered around because my mom worked all the time and she didn't care. Now I study well because I know Jesus and my whole life has changed. I want tobe a pastor when I grow up. I have

The Lord Provides a New Bus!

ICII had been praying for a bus so they could transport all their leprosy friends to the Promised Land where they are having church services. Now that they own their own bus, it can be used for multiple purposes such as evangelistic outreaches, a traveling medical van, and in many other ways. We extend our deepest thanks to a caring ICII supporter who purchased this much needed transportation for the ministry.
