Spoken English Class Turns
Into Disciple Training School!

Dear Prayer Warriors, greetings from India! This is our praise report on the Spoken English Class. In the month of May, associate Pastor Richard was inspired to conduct a spoken English class to reach the Hindu youths for those who wanted to learn to speak better English. His main goal was to lead them to Christ while using Bible teachings and scripture memorization in English. Over thirty youths came to class each day.

Each day they were taught a Bible verse to memorize and then they had to practice saying it in front of the class in clear English.On the sixth day God used our ministry promoter Kathy to share the Gospel to them, and the whole class of around thirty-three youths accepted the Lord! After that, this course was taught by Pastor Richard and myself and an outreach team from YWAM. This course was started for spoken English, but after the youths accepted the Lord, it became a Christian disciple training course!

At the end of May we took all the youths and the Ywam outreach team to tour a famous dam by four trips with our van. Ten other youths also came that had not attended the English class and we shared the Gospel to them. After Pastor Richard prayed, the Ywam girls sang some action songs. The youths were very happy and they praised God with joy through these songs.

Pastor Richard led them in a time of prayer and taught on how to get closer to God. Many youths began to cry and confessed their sins before the Lord in the time of prayer and many truly worshipped the Lord. After that, the Ywam team had some games and all the youths participated and really enjoyed themselves. Pastor Richard shared the message of how to grow in the Lord, and how to share the Gospel to their parents, and what is the present condition of those who didn’t accept the Lord.
