Earlier this year, Independent Church In India started a ministry in a new area, near a city about twenty-five miles north of Vadipatti where they currently have their church and Bible study groups. Since January, they have reached around 175 remote villages and have done film ministry and outreaches inside the city as well. The new church is growing weekly with new believers.

Around eighteen home groups have also started where they hold prayer and Bible studies during the week for those who cannot afford to pay the bus fare to get to the main church. There are many other opportunities to start many more home groups as the Lord provides more laborers.
