The Lame Walk in the Name of Jesus...

One evening, in the city of Dindigul, as soon as the Gospel team got out of their van they had a crowd of people waiting to hear why they had come. After they shared the Gospel, many people accepted the Lord and afterwards began bringing their sick friends and family to be prayed for. An elderly woman named Therasamal came for prayer who could barely walk or even kneel down. She asked for prayer for her weak, swollen leg because she endured agony just to come to the Gospel team for prayer.

Less than a week later, the team was sharing the Gospel in another part of the city, near that same place. There, many people accepted the Lord, and Therasamal urgently came to share good news with the team. She joyfully told them that the Lord had healed her! In the past she had refused to go to the doctor or seek divination, because she felt the Lord would heal her. She had suffered for a year and three months with a badly swollen leg. Therasamal shared with excitement; "When I never expected, the Lord sent you to pray for me and now I am healed."

weeks later.

One day, the Gospel team went to a village called Mullipatti. Here, there was a man named Josephselvaran who was unable to walk for three long years. After Pastor Richard, and United States missionary Lowell Smith prayed for Josephselvarajan, Lowell took him by the hand and walked with him around the yard several times. The next Sunday, four people from that village came to church very excited, because Josephselvarajan had begun walking without help! Josephselvarajan's son also stood up before the church joyfully testifying how the Lord healed his Father. We praise God for healing this man and for saving people in that village.

Jesus Brings Peace, Joy, and Forgiveness...

One evening in the city, Pastor Britto and Kathy shared the Gospel with a group of around fifty men, women and children. There, many accepted the Lord. Two Muslim girls shared: "Each night we would confess our sins before our god, but we never felt any peace or forgiveness when we did this. But now, after we heard the full Gospel and accepted Jesus into our lives, we are already feeling His peace and forgiveness in our hearts".

This elderly woman lived in a small mud floor tent and had lots of health problems, but no one to take care of her.

One day Independent Church In India visited a remote village where there were many elderly people that had no one to take care of them. After the Gospel team shared about the love of Jesus, many of these people committed their lives to the Lord, and came to the team for prayer. The following Sunday, a woman from this village came to the church. She shared with excitement "When I came I had sadness, but now I am going home with lots of joy, that I don't even want to leave".

One day the Gospel team spent lots of time at a village named Scelappaddi. Here one woman shared to United States missionary Kathy; "since you came all the way from America what you are sharing must be the truth". A man that was a Christian shared with the team "it is encouraging to me that you came to my village. If I would share about Jesus here, I would get mocked. I am excited that you came to share the Gospel with these people". Many of the people that heard the good news of the Gospel at Scelappaddi accepted it as the truth and willingly committed their lives to the Lord.
