HELP US TO BUILD A CHURCH/ORPHANAGE!
| Just think, if you recently made a commitment to the Lord, but all of a sudden the church that led you to Jesus that you were faithfully attending each week was going to be torn down. This is the case for Independent Church in India. In the state of Tamil Nadu, in India a law was recently passed that any public place such as a church must be removed if it is made out of coconut leaves.This new law was passed because of a tragic accident where around 80 children were burned to death at a school when the school caught on fire. |

Independent Church In India has for the past years been holding their services in their Vadipatti area in their coconut leaf tent. At this church many believers attend each week to worship the Lord.We are praying that God will provide for us a new building to hold the church services at Vadipatti. This church is being used to hold our Sunday services, our fasting and prayer gatherings, and various outreaches. Many outreaches to share the Gospel and reach out to those in desperate need have been held here.

The most recent past outreaches were a tailoring school for jobless women and teenage orphans, and the spoken English and discipleship classes for new believers. Each Sunday service many new believers are coming to church regularly to hear and learn more about the Lord. Many people who have come to this church have been healed, delivered, and have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ.
When the Lord provides for the permanent building we can also have an orphanage in the upstairs of the building for at least 15 to 20 homeless orphan children.

Here we will provide them with food, shelter, clothes, a good education, and will diligently teach them about the Lord Jesus Christ. We will give them lots of love and tender care.While these children are at school we plan to use this same building for another tailoring school which will help needy widows and teenage orphans to learn the trade of sewing so they can provide for their own needs.

Independent Church In India tailoring school class was held at their church in Vadipatti. Here the women learn the trade of sewing. Best of all, the Gospel is shared to them, and they get taught an hour of Bible teaching everyday.
