PRAYER REQUEST FOR URGENT NEED
|
Please pray that God will provide for us to buy the land needed for our main Church at Vadipatti. This church is being used to hold our sunday services, our fasting and prayer gatherings, and various outreaches.

The Hindu landlord has recently warned the Pastors that he is ready to sell the land where the church tent is built. They could be told to vacate at any time. The Pastor's and believers are desperately praying for God to intervene.
|
|
|
This church is constantly being used for many outreaches. Our current outreach is a tailoring school for jobless widows and teenage orphan girls. This school will be running September through November 2003. The Tailoring School will help these women and youths to learn this trade so they can have a chance to earn a living. Over fifty Hindu women and girls are attending and we are expecting more to come in the future as the word gets out. Each day we will also be sharing the word of God and giving these hopeless women an opportunity to put their hope in Jesus Christ.

In the month of May Independent Church held a month's course of spoken English at the Vadipatti Church. This course was designed to share the word of God while teaching the youths how to speak clearer English. At the Vadipatti Church, children are writing down scriptures they have previously learned.

At our weekly Sanampatti ministry and the Vadipatti church, children are very eager to hear the word of God and memorize scripture. Each week the pastors and team workers teach them one or two new Bible verses and they recite them by memory.

|
Every month believers from different churches gather at the Vadipatti church for a prayer and fasting service. At these prayer meetings God is doing mighty works among the people.
